Jessica's Bridal Shower

This past weekend we were able to attend
a good family friend's bridal shower. As I
get older, it seems that there are fewer of these
and more baby showers...so it was nice for
a change. Jessica now lives up in Chicago and
we are hoping to go to the wedding in June, but
it will be around the time of our invetro, so we
will have to see about timing. Still, it was great
to see Jessica and Judy and have a fun girly
shower.

Jensen March

Jensen and Karen came over to visit.
He is crawling and getting into everything!
His favorite thing is to open and shut all
cabinet doors.

Harrison is now 2 months old!
He is 22 inches long and weighs
in at 9.5 pounds. What a cute
smile! Only 3 more weeks before
we get to go and visit him!!!

We had so much fun at Jeff and Steph's baby shower
this past weekend! We can't wait to meet baby Braeden.
Mom and dad got lots of good stuff for the baby. My
favorite, of course, was the Baylor Bear cap. Steph is
doing very well, and is expecting Braeden by early April.

Recipe Exchange

The girls in our Sunday school class had a recipe exchange
last Saturday. Everyone made a brunch recipe and brought
copies to pass out. Not only did we have a fun time catching
up with one another, we walked away with 2o new recipes!
I made a banana french toast casserole. I found it off of the
Sunmaid website. The recipe follows:

Banana French Toast

Makes 8 servings.

Ingredients:

8 slices Sun-Maid Raisin Bread
2 medium bananas cut in 1/4-inch slices
1 cup milk
4 ounces softened cream cheese
3 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:

HEAT oven to 350 F.
PLACE
four slices of raisin bread in a single layer in a buttered 9-inch square baking dish.
TOP with bananas and four slices of raisin bread.
BLEND milk, cream cheese, eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla in a blender or food processor until smooth.
POUR over raisin bread. Let stand 5 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
BAKE 40 to 45 minutes (50 to 55 minutes if refrigerated) until set and top is toasted. Let stand 10 minutes.
CUT French toast into diagonal halves and remove with spatula. Dust servings with powdered sugar if desired.

Harrison is One Month Old

Can you believe how much he has changed!
Michelle sent me these pics last week. We
were just there a few weeks ago. He has
gained a few pounds and grew a couple
of inches...WOW!
