Babysitting Jensen

Babysitting Jensen is an adventure now that he is mobile. He likes to look out the window a lot. (So does Max) He likes to play with his toys and have you read books to him. I was reading Yummy/ Yucky and he thinks it is hilarious! Mom and Dad had a fun but quick wedding reception that they attended. The little boy went down without a fuss and Uncle Chuck and Auntie Sarah watched golf...some kind of big tournament where Tiger Woods was on FIRE! He was hitting all sorts of Eagles. Forgot what it was called, but it was exciting.
Today I got my haircut, so hopefully I will get new pics out soon with my new "do".

Class Picnic

On Saturday, our Sunday School Class had a picnic out at Arbor Creek Nature Preserve. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and dips and chips. Meredith made this wonderful shrimp salsa that was a really big hit! It had cilantro, shrimp, tomatoes, and avocadoes. It was very refreshing on a warm Texas day. We couldn't stay long, because we had to go babysit Jensen but we did enjoy catching up with our friends.
Here is a pic of Chuck trying to get a kite up in the air for Elizabeth.

Harrison is 5 months old!

My nephew Harrison is 5 months old! He has the sweetest smile and seems to be
happy all the time. And yes, he still has those BIG blue eyes...we are hoping those
stick around.

Jensen's Birthday!

Aloha! So it took me a while to get these posted, but I was busy with the end of the school year. Jensen turned one in May and had a hawaiian themed party to celebrate.
Cousin Harrison came up from Houston to be with Jensen. Karen and Mike had several neighbors, close friends and relatives attend. Everyone dressed in their island wear and wore leis to show their aloha.
